Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book an appointment?

Please click here to book a session through Jane App, a secure and encrypted booking software. You will be asked to create a profile, after which you can book into my schedule whenever suits you best.

What are your rates?

A 50-minute counselling session is $135 +gst.

 

We have space for a limited number of sliding scale clients. If payment is a barrier or if you would like help finding community resources you may qualify for, please get in touch with us here.

Will extended benefit plans cover my session?

We encourage clients to contact their insurance provider to see if services from a Registered Clinical Counsellor are covered by their personal plans. We provide clients with an invoice after each session that can be submitted to insurance providers for reimbursement.

Do you offer direct billing?

No, we do not offer any direct billing. We ask that clients submit any paid invoices directly to their insurance provider. 

How do I pay for my session?

All payments are processed through Jane App. When you book an appointment, you will be prompted to fill out a credit card authorization for the card you wish to use. Please see cancellation policy below for payments resulting from a missed appointment. 

What is your cancellation policy?

24 hours notice must be provided if you need to cancel a scheduled session. This is required for both cancellations and rescheduling. If less than 24 hours notice is given, the full session fee will be charged. If an extenuating circumstance affects your ability to cancel in time, please let us know as soon as possible.

What if I no longer wish to use counselling services?

You have the right to stop using counselling services at any time for any reason.
